Dr. Danny Tran
Dr. Tran has always called Southern California home. In fact, he grew up less than 30 minutes from where Covina Family Dental is now. Since his father was a dentist, his interest in the field of dentistry was sparked at a young age. And he wasn’t the only one – his sister is a practicing oral surgeon!
When it came time for Dr. Tran to go to college, he chose the University of the Pacific. After earning his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, it was time to make his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist near San Dimas a reality. He attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, which is where he graduated with honors with his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Today, Dr. Tran has roughly a decade of experience in the world of dentistry. Each year, he pursues continuing education and stays involved in memberships with the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Plus, he serves on the board of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society!
As you can imagine, lots of Dr. Tran’s time in and outside of the office is centered around dentistry. However, he also enjoys playing basketball, eating good food around town, participating in community events, and spending time outside!
